Humanixio ("we", "us") takes privacy seriously because we know what kind of text you're pasting in. This page explains what we collect, what we do with it, and (more importantly) what we don't do with it.
The short version
- We don't train on your essays. Your input text is never used to fine-tune our models or improve any third-party model.
- Essay text is deleted when you close the tab. Guests have no server-side history. Paid subscribers can opt-in to save runs in their dashboard.
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
1. What we collect
We try to collect as little as possible. The categories below are exhaustive. If a category isn't listed, we don't collect it.
1.1 Account data
- Email address. Required to send the magic link and receipts.
- Display name. Collected at signup so we can address you correctly in emails.
- Subscription tier and billing status. Synced from Lemon Squeezy via webhook so we know what quota to grant.
1.2 Usage data
- Word counts per humanize run. Used to track your monthly quota. The text itself is not stored alongside the count.
1.3 Essay content
The text you paste is sent to our humanizer endpoint, processed by our model, and returned to you. It is not written to durable storage by default. Authenticated subscribers on paid tiers can opt to save runs to their dashboard. Those rows are stored in our Supabase database with row-level security so only you can read them.
2. How we use it
- To run the humanizer service you requested.
- To bill you (via Lemon Squeezy) and email you receipts.
- To enforce free-tier quotas and prevent abuse from disposable email services and rotating IPs.
- To send transactional email (magic links, receipts, quota alerts). We do not send marketing email without an opt-in.
3. Third-party processors
We use the following sub-processors. Each is bound by their own data processing terms:
- Lemon Squeezy. Merchant of Record for all payments. Card and tax data are handled by them, not us.
- Cloudflare. Bot protection on the guest humanize endpoint.
4. Data retention
- Account data. Retained while your account exists. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
- Saved essay history (paid tier opt-in). Retained until you delete it from your dashboard, or 30 days after account deletion.
- Email logs (delivery confirmations). Retained 90 days.
5. Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- Show you the data we hold on you.
- Correct anything that's wrong.
- Delete your account and everything tied to it.
- Export your saved runs as a JSON or .docx archive.

6. Children
Humanixio is not intended for users under 16. If you're younger than that, please don't create an account, and ask a parent or guardian to handle anything that needs handling.
7. International transfers
Our servers and sub-processors are located primarily in the United States and the European Union. By using Humanixio you agree to this transfer.
8. Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, signed webhook payloads (HMAC-SHA256), row-level security on all user-scoped tables, and the principle of least privilege for service credentials. No system is unbreakable, but we keep ours boring on purpose.
9. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll notify active accounts by email at least 14 days before the new version takes effect. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) are reflected by the Effective Date at the top.
